Soo…
Mom heard from the radiologist. Results were normal. No cancer. Huge sigh of relief.
Amy had an appointment at CHOP on yesterday for her breathing. Despite drama in the parking garage and insurance related referral issues that I dare not type about lest my blood pressure sky rocket, the visit went fine. As you know, I’m a big fan of CHOP – they are really on the ball. There is no apparent explanation for the wacky breathing and gasping, so they ordered X-Rays. We’ll discuss those with the doctor shortly. There is a rare possibility that her adenoids have grown back – or it could be apnea – or… Who knows? I just want her to breathe normally and be able to sleep through the night just fine. Fingers crossed.
And apparently, Chris has sustained a pretty serious injury that has rendered him incapable of pressing the “on” switch on the dishwasher.
Me? I’m just loving this cooler weather, hoping for things to slow down (through next Wednesday is madness for me) and drinking lots of coffee…

Yay for good health! Here’s a related question. You guys have your own company, correct? What do you do for health insurance? Do you purchase your own plan? Are you finding that it’s insanely expensive now that you have kids or is it a reasonable option? I ask because I wonder how solo attorneys deal with the health insurance issue.
I am so glad to hear your mother’s test results came back clear. Last year my mom had some tests done on what turned out to be a fibroid, but I bit my nails for a week. Thank God for good health!
And I am with PT-LawMom on the insurance question. How do you handle is being a solo?
